Thank you.

I'm a Norwegian conservation scientist living and working in Switzerland. This homepage briefly presents my cultural heritage research activities and publications within the fields of:

  • Weathering and conservation of monuments and sites
  • The archaeology of ancient stone quarries
  • Prehistoric Egyptian rock art

After 20 years of work for various institutions within the cultural heritage field, I established the one-man company "Per Storemyr Archaeology & Conservation Services" (in Zurich, CH) in 2010. The company offer services within conservation of monuments (condition reports, risk analysis, conservation concepts etc.) and archaeological survey (stone quarries, rock art etc.). I also work on publishing material related to conservation and archaeology and regularly join archaeological missions in Egypt, last with the Belgian Mission to el-Hosh (Upper Egypt, 2010). My new website (www.per-storemyr.net) will be up an running late 2010.
